Angela Sdrinis Legal was established in 2014 and specialises in Sexual and Institutional Abuse, Workcover, Transport Accident Claims (TAC), Comcare, Sentencing Act Claims and Public Liability. Our principal lawyer and Director, Angela Sdrinis, was admitted to practise law in 1984 and has been a Personal Injuries Accredited Specialist since the scheme was introduced in 1993. She has over 40 years’ experience and has acted for thousands of people who have been survivors of Institutional child sexual abuse and workplace injuries. She is supported by a team of committed lawyers and paralegals who have considerable expertise in helping people with compassion and understanding.

Angela Sdrinis Legal has represented numerous witnesses giving evidence at the Royal Commission into Child Abuse including at public hearings into the Salvation Army (Southern Territory), the Catholic Church, Geelong Grammar and the Defence Force.
We have pursued hundreds of claims for former wards of the state who allege that they have been abused in care. Angela Sdrinis has acted for child migrants who reside in Australia and the UK and for members of the Stolen Generation.

We also provide expert advice in Comcare claims for Commonwealth employees and other workers covered by the National Scheme. Our firm has made submissions to Government with respect to inquiries into the Comcare scheme.
We have also made submissions with respect to reviews of the Comcare scheme, bullying and harassment and the management of injuries and injury claims by Australia Post.
Angela Sdrinis Legal currently act for members of the CWU, Telecommunications and Australian Postal Workers Divisions. Angela Sdrinis Legal has won Comcare cases in the AAT against the Australian Federal Police, Telstra, Australia Post, the National Australia Bank, Linfox and various Commonwealth Departments and has represented injured workers in the Federal Court.
Angela Sdrinis Legal has also won a number of serious injury applications in the TAC and WorkCover space.
Angela Sdrinis Legal ran the first class action in Tasmania and secured $75,000,000 in compensation inclusive of legal costs for approximately 125 claimants who alleged abuse at the Ashley Youth Detention Centre.
